Both Hummus Bodega locations are closed every Shabbat and all Yomim Tovim. That is not a scheduling preference we adjust for busy weeks — it is part of the kashrut standard the business is certified under, and it does not change.

Because that catches people out, here is what it means in practice.

Friday is a short day

The San Francisco restaurant on Geary Boulevard runs 10:00am to 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday, and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Friday. Saturday it is closed.

The Friday close is earlier than most people expect, and it is the single most common reason someone arrives to a locked door. If you are picking up for a Friday night meal, build in more margin than you think you need — the last hour before close is the busiest hour of the week, and the kitchen stops when it stops.

The truck keeps the same rule

The food truck in Santa Clara serves Wednesday, 11:00am to 5:00pm, and roams to other Bay Area locations on Tuesdays. It is closed Saturday for the same reason the restaurant is. The truck operates with a Mashgiach Temidi on board and serves food prepared at the supervised San Francisco kitchen, so its schedule follows the restaurant's.

Catering around a Yom Tov

Catering is where the closures matter most, because the cooking has to happen before the chag, not during it. If you are planning a meal that lands on or immediately after a Yom Tov:

Get the order in early. The days before a chag are the days everyone else is ordering too
Say clearly when you need to collect or receive it, not just what date it is for
Ask about pickup if the delivery window you need falls inside a closure
